This 2 days Mikumi Park safari from Dar-Es-Salaam is a short but rewarding safari, its suitable for travelers without much time but intend to have an experience of the wildlife at Mukimi national park. The safari stats from Dar-es-salaam departing very early in the morning, taking 5-6 hours to arrive at the park. The activities will include game drive in the park to see the wildlife.
Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer - Mikumi National Park
Be picked up from your accommodation in Dar- es-salaam at 6:00am; embark on a drive to Mikumi National Park. Check I at your lodge at the park, later head for game drive in the park in search for elephants, giraffes, lions, hippos in the hippos pools, warthogs, buffaloes, elands etc. Later head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Transfer
Get up early in the morning and head for an early morning game drive in the park search for wild game that you could have not seen the previous day. Later head back to the lodge check out and transfer to Dar- Salaam arriving in the evening.
