In Ruaha one can have a rare experience of game viewing spiced up by the fascinating landscape. The park is rich in plants and animals such as Greater Kudu (Tragelaphus strepsiceros) which cannot be found in any other national park. The park boasts of her almost untouched and unexplored ecosystem, making visitors’ safari experience very unique.
Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer - Ruaha National Park
Meet a guide and the safari jeep at Iringa and then depart to Ruaha National Park with lunch upon arrival. This will be followed by checking into your rooms then a late afternoon game drive along the Great Ruaha River. You will view the sunset activities of a variety of animal species such as Elephants, Giraffes, Gazelles, Kudus, Impalas and Birds and take in the scenery until 6:30pm before driving back for dinner and your overnight stay in the Government Bandas or lodge
Day 2: Ruaha National Park - Iringa
Ruaha National Park, which is famous for its rare sable antelope, roar antelope, and big herds of elephants. The park represents a transition zone where eastern and southern African flora and fauna overlap. Although Ruaha is one of the largest parks in Africa, it is comparatively unknown and, due to its remoteness, remains unspoiled.
After an afternoon game drive you will drive back to Iringa.
